Why I Love This Dip Recipe
I’m always a fan of dips and spreads. Step into my kitchen anytime before dinner, and I’m likely to be dipping some cauliflower or broccoli into a hummus or dip that I’ve recently whipped up. As a snack lover, the creamy texture is almost impossible for me to resist.
This whipped feta dip has quickly become one of my favorite recipes to make for both weeknight snacking and easy entertaining. The briny flavor of the feta is softened with the creaminess of Greek yogurt and cream cheese. And it’s so fast to make—all in a food processor—which makes it a great last-minute appetizer idea.
The toppings can be customized to suit your personal preferences: herb-filled, spicy, or sweet. Or opt for my preferred favorites of parsley, dill, and lemon zest. However you make it, this one’s sure to be a favorite.
Here are a few reasons to love this recipe:
- Quick and easy to make in 10 minutes or less.
- Great to make ahead, as the flavors deepen as the dip sits.
- Smooth and creamy texture that feels like something special, but is easy enough to whip up for any day.
- Pairs perfectly with crackers, sliced veggies, and grilled meats.

Whipped Feta Dip Ingredients
A few simple ingredients make this dip something super special:
- Feta cheese – The main ingredient that this whole recipe is based around. It has both a tangy and salty flavor.
- Cream cheese – Adds some smoothness and richness to the dip. Make sure it’s at room temperature so the food processor can mix it together.
- Greek yogurt – Lightens the dip and gives it a creamy tang. Opt for full-fat to ensure the best flavor in the dip.
- Lemon juice – Fresh acidity that brightens the entire dip.
- Honey – A bit of sweetness to balance the feta.
- Garlic – Just enough to add some depth.
- Kosher salt and black pepper – Enhance all the other flavors and add a mild kick.
- To serve, top with lemon zest, fresh chopped parsley, and chopped dill.
The full amount of each ingredient can be found in the recipe card below.

How to Make Whipped Feta Dip
A quick blend is all it takes to transform these simple ingredients into a creamy dip.
Combine and blend – In a food processor, combine the feta cheese, cream cheese, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, honey, garlic, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed. This should take 1-2 minutes.

Serve – Spoon into a serving bowl and smooth the top. Garnish with lemon zest, chopped parsley, and chopped dill.

Serving and Storage
To serve – Serve this dip as part of a summer appetizer spread with sliced cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, crackers, and warm pita bread. It also works wonderfully as a spread on sandwiches or wraps, or dolloped onto grilled chicken.
To store – Place in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. After it has sat, give it a quick stir before serving.
