Why I Love This Herb Sauce
We all love a good sauce in our lives, and this recipe is one of those that makes a simple meal feel a little more finished. It has all the creamy texture you want, with the addition of mayonnaise and Greek yogurt, a little something special from Dijon mustard, and the fresh flavor of an herb pairing: dill and parsley.
This herb sauce is creamy, tangy, garlicky, and herb-filled, making it the kind of sauce that pairs well with almost anything on the table. Seriously, anything!
What’s also great is that the sauce can be made ahead of time and kept in the fridge until serving. Whether it’s drizzled over some roasted vegetables, served alongside grilled chicken, or used as a spread (like in my grilled pork burgers), it adds a bright, savory flavor without too much extra work.

Creamy Dijon Herb Sauce Ingredients
You only need 9 simple ingredients—which you probably already have on hand—to make this sauce recipe:
- Mayonnaise – Adds richness and makes a smooth, creamy texture. I always like to make my own mayonnaise right at home so I know exactly what goes into it.
- Greek yogurt – Lightens the sauce with a little tang.
- Worcestershire sauce – The secret ingredient that makes anything better!
- Dijon mustard – Brings sharpness and classic mustard flavor.
- Garlic – Adds the perfect savory flavor.
- Kosher salt and black pepper – Season the sauce.
- Fresh dill and parsley – Add brightness and fresh herbal flavor.
The full amount of each ingredient can be found in the recipe card below.

How to Make This Sauce Recipe
This sauce couldn’t be easier to make, with just one step!
In a bowl, add the mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, dill, and parsley. Stir everything together until the sauce is creamy and evenly combined. Store the sauce in the refrigerator until ready to serve. This sauce can be made up to 2 days in advance.

Recipe Tips
There are a few things to keep in mind to make this recipe the best it can be:
- Use fresh herbs for better flavor – Dried herbs will work in a pinch (use half the amount listed for fresh if using dried), but fresh dill and parsley give the sauce its best flavor!
- Let the sauce chill before serving when possible – Even 30 minutes spent in the fridge gives everything time to meld together.
- Taste before serving – Depending on the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard used, the sauce may need a small amount of additional salt or black pepper.

Serving & Storage
Ways to use this sauce – This creamy Dijon herb sauce is great when served as a sauce or a dip. Try it with roasted potatoes, on top of grilled chicken, salmon, pork burgers (my favorite way to use it!), sandwiches, wraps, grain bowls, and/or roasted vegetables. It can also be used as a dip for raw vegetables or as a substitute for plain mayonnaise on a simple turkey or chicken sandwich. The ways are truly endless!
Storage – Store the sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It can be made up to 2 days in advance and kept chilled until ready to serve. Stir before serving if any separation occurs.
