The warm, roasted flavor of coffee is brought to ice cream in this recipe. Combined with flavors of vanilla and caramel, this balanced ice cream is a coffee lover's dream!
Whisk eggs with the sugar until light and fluffy. Add milk and cream, mixing to incorporate. Last, add the coffee and vanilla mixture to the milk mixture.
2 ½ cups milk, 1 cup granulated sugar, 2 large eggs, 2 ½ cups heavy cream
Pre-chill the mixture for 2-4 hours. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for your ice cream freezer. Using my KitchenAid attachment, it takes approximately 20-30 minutes to achieve a nice soft-serve consistency. To achieve a better freeze, put directly into an airtight container after frozen and place in the freezer for 2-4 hours.
