Coconut and lime bring a tropical element to a refreshing classic. Amazing for hot summer days, or any occasion, this twist on a classic will quickly become a new favorite.
Bring water and sugar to a boil over medium-high heat and stir to dissolve sugar. Once boiling and sugar is dissolved, remove from heat and add cream of coconut. Stir to dissolve and incorporate coconut. Set aside to cool, then chill.
2 cups water, 1 ⅓ cups granulated sugar, ½ cup cream of coconut
While sugar mixture is chilling, juice lemons and limes.
1 ½ cups fresh lemon juice, ½ cup fresh lime juice
To assemble lemonade, pour juices and chilled sugar syrup into a pitcher. Pour over ice-filled glasses. Garnish with lime slices and let yourself indulge.
