1 ½tbspCajun seasoning (I use Morton & Bassett (affiliate link))
½tspcayenne pepper
1tbspfresh thyme leaves
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Spray a large 13×18 sheet pan with nonstick baking spray.
Pile nuts in the middle of the prepared pan and pour on honey, orange juice, sugar, salt, Cajun seasoning, cayenne, and thyme leaves. Mix together and spread out to an even layer on the baking pan.
3 cups unsalted mixed nuts, ½ cup honey, ¼ cup fresh orange juice, 2 tbsp light brown sugar, 2 tsp kosher salt, 1 ½ tbsp Cajun seasoning (I use Morton & Bassett (affiliate link)), ½ tsp cayenne pepper, 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
Bake in preheated oven 18-25 minutes, stirring every eight minutes until the liquid condenses and becomes thick, coating the nuts like a glaze.
Remove from oven and cool, continuing to stir and breaking up any large pieces. Serve at room temperature. These can be made one day in advance and stored in an airtight container.
