With the autumn season in full swing, entertaining has moved indoors at The Farm. The menus are becoming cozier, and the drinks are laced with spices for a little fall flair. Whether you are throwing a large dinner party or a small cocktail gathering, drinks can make or break your get-together. I love to have a few signature drinks for my gatherings, ones that I make sure to have plenty of ingredients on hand, and can post the recipe by the bar so people can mix them on their own!

These drinks are not overly complicated but exude the essence of the season’s flavors to create refreshing drinks. Use them for a party and enjoy them on your own all season long!

Three Fall Cocktails

Ingredients

For the cranberry pumpkin martini

  • 3 oz 100% cranberry juice
  • 3 oz orange juice
  • 1.5 oz pumpkin pie vodka
  • 2 dashes bitters (optional)
  • orange peel for garnish

For the Fireball cider

  • ¾ cup apple cider
  • 1.5 oz Fireball whiskey (or any cinnamon whiskey)
  • 1.5 oz Cointreau liqueur (or any orange liqueur)
  • cinnamon stick for garnish

For the white grape & pear spritzer

  • ¾ cup white grape juice
  • 3 oz pear vodka
  • 2 dashes bitters (optional)
  • 7Up (or club soda)
  • maraschino cherry for garnish

Instructions
 

For the cranberry pumpkin martini

  • Place the first four contents in a shaker with ice. Shake for 30 seconds until well chilled. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with orange peel.

For the Fireball cider

  • Pour first three ingredients in highball glass. Stir with cinnamon stick and leave in for garnish.

For the white grape & pear spritzer

  • Pour the first three ingredients into glass. Top off with 7Up or club soda. Garnish with cherry.
