All Christmas season, I have been sharing my family’s favorite recipes for candies, cookies and all things Christmas! While we each have different ideas of what makes a baked good “Christmas,” we all can agree that giving and receiving homemade goods as gifts is extremely rewarding and truly from the heart. I think the packaging of these goods can make just as good an impression as the confections themselves, so I always put some extra time into packing them. Using boxes, bows, and labels available at any craft supply store, you can create gorgeous gifts for anyone in your life. Line boxes with tissue and wax paper (to prevent oil spots), add candy for color, and finish with a bow. You can’t go wrong with a gift like this. And you don’t have to fight holiday crowds, making it a stress-free gift! Merry Christmas!
Unfortunately we will be short on funds for the 2015 Christmas gift giving season. Felt real bummed about that until I came across this video on homemade food items as gifts. Needless to say, I will be copying your suggestions verbatim. Who knows, these ideas may have just started an economical gift giving tradition . Each time I visit your Channel, I come away with something beneficial and each time I send up a prayer of thanks and a blessing for you.
I love watching you make food , you make everything look so easy to make. You are very gifted, if only more people were like you were in the world, it would be one happy place. Love your little dog!!!
