Maintaining the Garden | Gardening with The Gray Boxwood

A garden is a commitment one needs to keep all season long. This is why I emphasize that if one is new to gardening, start small so the continual work stays small. Once a yard area is tilled and planted, the work really begins. If you enjoy the work you will be rewarded with the fruits of your labor – fresh produce all season!

I’m starting to pick the French breakfast radish and they are so delicious. There is nothing more satisfying than the first batch of radishes from the garden. Weeds are also ready to “picked.”  t always amazes me how a little rain and warmth produces so many weeds! I like to spend time weeding a few times a week. A little here, a little there causes the work to be spread out and never seem overwhelming. Hopefully your garden is growing and producing and you too are enjoying the first picks of spring!
