A Harvest Table

Autumn is in full swing! The leaves are changing and falling and the weather has been the usual Midwest roller coaster: cold and blustery one week then oddly warm the next. When a warm spell hits, I love to soak in the natural beauty outdoors by entertaining outside. Harvest gives us such natural decor through gourds, sticks and mums that setting a table for fall is honestly easy!

For a large group, I simply put two banquet tables together (low cost rentals) and use two tablecloths that are the same (because who has one large enough!?). No one will notice the seams.

Decorate the center with various gourds, candles, mums and a few twigs from the yard. Use plates, silverware and glasses that you have; real is always better. During the fall mixing and matching outdoors just makes sense and blends seamlessly. Enjoy these harvest days!
