First Plants of the Season: Gardening with The Gray Boxwood | The Gray Boxwood

After the first seeds of the season are planted, next come a few plants that can withstand some of the cooler spring weather. Late April in the Midwest can bring late snows, below freezing nighttime temperatures and unpredictable weather. Only a few plants can stand up to this. Cabbages, cauliflower, broccoli and onions are great to plant early, but they need to be protected from the elements. Follow along as I continue my garden!
